Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Blasts Off October 14, 2014

By Marion Dreo on Jun 4, 2014

Your wait is (almost) over. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel drops on October 14, 2014 in North America and on October 17, 2014 worldwide, for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC.

In case you missed it, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has awesome low-gravity gunplay on Pandora’s moon, four brand new vault hunters and a whole new campaign. Story wise, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place between the original Borderlands and Borderlands 2. You can go solo or with three buddies, playing as Wilhelm, Nisha, Athena, or as a gun-slinging Claptrap in service of Handsome Jack. That’s right, you’re helping Handsome Jack and witnessing his origin story as he transforms into the megalomaniacal tyrannical jerk you loved to hate in Borderlands 2.

Taking place in an old Dahl facility on Pandora’s moon, players will meet TR4-NU, who once was one of Dahl’s military recruiters until he went crazy. TR4-NU is now hosting the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit and giving awesome loot to those who succeed against the moon’s toughest enemies.
